A: No, all scores must be during the Fall/Spring academic calendar year

A: Typically no, you must travel with the Trap & Skeet team for all selective events and most open events. We need 2 drivers with approved Driver’s Agreements per vehicle and an emergency contact on all trips.

Q: Can I bring my own ammo to ACUI Nationals?

A: No, ACUI Nationals supplies all ammo for specific events in order for the event to be fair across the board. We must comply with their rules and regulations. All other events will likely require you bringing your own ammo.

A: No, you must be with the team at all times.

Q: Can I store my gun at the range?

A: Yes, but in the event that you need to retrieve it at a time other than a regular practice, you MUST contact an officer a week prior to when you need it. Please give further notice in the event of a holiday.

Q: How do I join?

A: Firstly, watch our new member orientation video. This should answer most of the questions you may have, as well as provide all the information you need regarding dues, forms, events, and how our club operates. After completing the video, click on the Links page above. This is where you will find all the forms necessary to become a new member. We highly recommend using the "Links Checklist" to ensure you have completed all the necessary paperwork.

Q: Do I have to have prior experience?

A: Most of our members have shot before either recreationally or competitively, however we are always happy to introduce a new shooter to the sport. Our officers will happily teach newcomers about safety, etiquette, and the rules of each shotgun discipline.

Q: What are my dues used for?

A: Dues are primarily used to provide members the opportunity to practice free of charge. Both ammunition and target fees are covered at regular practices. We also use dues to help finance tournament entry fees, lodging and rental vehicles for events that require travel, and other miscellaneous expenses.

Q: Can I rent a gun?

A: Due to COVID-19, we are not permitted to utilize any shared equipment, therefore you will need to have your own gun and safety gear to participate.

Q: Can I order merchandise online?

A: We are currently unable to facilitate online transactions, and all merchandise is typically only available to purchase at specific events. Be sure to check our Newsletter page or social media to see when we will be selling merchandise.
